OpenGradient is the Network for Open Intelligence — a decentralized infrastructure network designed to host, inference, and verify AI models at scale. Rather than functioning as a standalone blockchain, OpenGradient operates as a specialized AI coprocessor: it enables applications, blockchains, and autonomous agents to outsource computationally-heavy AI tasks to a dedicated network of GPU and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) nodes. The validator set verifies every computational proof (TEE attestation or zkML proof) at the consensus level before it is committed on-chain, enabling trustless usage of AI from any network or application.

The platform solves the “AI Black Box” problem. In traditional cloud-based AI, users must blindly trust that a provider is using the correct models and data. On OpenGradient, jobs — whether a DeFi risk forecast, an autonomous agent reasoning step, or a simple LLM query — are executed securely and generate cryptographic traces that are preserved and verified on-chain, proving exactly which model was used, what data was accessed, and that the computation was not tampered with. OpenGradient ensures every inference job passes cryptographic verification (TEE attestation or zkML proof) at the consensus level before it is accepted on-chain.
The network has produced more than 4.2 million blocks and processed over 1.85 million on-chain transactions, with more than 10,000 transactions occurring daily and over 263,500 unique wallets interacting with the system. The platform also includes the OpenGradient Model Hub, a permissionless repository where developers can upload, access, and monetize AI models. The hub currently hosts more than 2,000 models from over 100 developers, has served more than 2 million verifiable inferences, and has generated over 500,000 cryptographic proofs.

Several consumer applications have already been built on top of the OpenGradient network, demonstrating the breadth of the emerging ecosystem. BitQuant is an AI-powered quantitative trading agent that allows users to interact with algorithmic trading strategies through natural language and automated analysis. MemSync serves as a universal AI memory layer that enables persistent, cross-application memory for AI systems, allowing agents and applications to store, retrieve, and build upon prior interactions over time. Twin.Fun is an AI personality marketplace where users can create, trade, and interact with unique AI-driven digital personas. Together, these applications illustrate how OpenGradient functions as a foundational platform for a growing ecosystem of consumer AI products, ranging from financial agents to memory infrastructure and AI-native marketplaces.
