O Coin is the native cryptocurrency that powers the O.XYZ ecosystem. It is the native gas of the O.CHAIN (Layer-2 OP Stack on Ethereum). Beyond being a currency, O Coin also empowers our global community to actively participate in shaping and constructing the Sovereign Super AI through our upcoming DAO infrastructure. The key utilities of O Coin include:
* Financial Sovereignty: Establishes financial independence for O.
* Community Rewards: Incentivizes community contributors and GPU Compute networks.
* Ecosystem Access: Facilitates access to O.XYZ products and services.
* Resource Payments: Used for paying API usage and compute resources.
* Research Support: Community members can signal backing for AI research or ethical AI development.
* Platform Payments: Essential for financial transactions within the user interface layer.
* User Transactions: Powers remittances and user-to-user payments, like tipping content creators.
O.XYZ will also facilitate O's Sovereignty through a decentralized computational infrastructure called O.lNFRA. Key components of this infrastructure include two data centres of CS-3 Cerebras Wafer scale chips, satellite nodes leveraging Starlink for connectivity, and nodes in international waters. All three components are fully owned by the community, through upcoming fractionalized ownership programs.
Finally, at the core of O's Super Intelligence lies O.XYZ's Research Program, called O.RESEARCH. Recent research has developed O.XYZ's proprietary and open source O.RI, O's Routing Intelligence. Key features include an ethical assessment model, a query breakdown module, a benchmark matching engine, and a model-to-model routing system designed to route the query to the best-performing model within a target registry of over 100.000 models.
