What Is Looping Collective (LOOP)?
LOOP is the engine powering all Liquid Looping products. It’s a token flywheel that fuels the growth of the Looping Collective ecosystem. With the initial distribution of tokens we are distributing the token into the hands of everyone that is helping to bootstrap the initial TVL of all looping products.
In order for LOOP to function as a flywheel we need to ensure that LOOP remains in the hands of everyone that is contributing to the success of the looping products today.
LOOP holders are inclined to stake LOOP to unlock more benefits and multipliers.
How Many LOOP Tokens Are There in Circulation?
LOOP Total Supply is 1,000,000,000 $LOOP max—fixed and never mintable beyond this cap.
Instead of traditional time-based unlocks, $LOOP uses a TVL milestone-based vesting mechanism: tokens unlock only when protocol TVL hits defined targets. This ties dilution directly to performance and growth.
Currently, there are 151,665,000 $LOOP in circulation
Who are Looping Collective?
Our thesis for yield in crypto with staking as the baseline risk-free rate is that consumers will access it primarily via structured products. The problem is that most structured products today are rigid and centralized. The Looping Collective provides a token standard that incentivizes deep liquidity and a wide range of integrations to provide a set of structured products that create better staking UX for users and higher revenues for all involved parties.
Where Can I Buy LOOP?
LOOP will soon be listed at the HyperLiquid Exchange. Currently, it is listed at other Hyperliquid AMM DEXs, such as Hyperswap and Kittenswap.
You can also get LOOP tokens airdroped by participating in the Looping Collective ecosystem, holding Liquid Looping tokens(like loopedHYPE).
Each airdrop phase is triggered by reaching certain TVL milestones for all Liquid Looping tokens in the ecosystem.
What is the utility of LOOP?
LOOP is the token flywheel for LHYPE and all future Liquid Looping Tokens (loopedETH, loopedBTC and more).
Automatic buy-backs: We take 10% of performance fees from LHYPE and future Liquid Looping Tokens (LLTs) to buy LOOP back on the open market, driving demand and rewards.
How it works:
Stake LOOP (stLOOP) to get a multiplier on 3 different kinds of airdrops:
Early Adopter Airdrops (staggered in 6 Phases) - Currently in Phase-2
Token unlocks will happen when cumulative TVL targets are hit across all Liquid Looping products (loopedHYPE, loopedETH, loopedBTC and more). Throughout each phase, at least 40% of the unlocked LOOP will go directly to LLT holders.
Loyalty Airdrops (from Buy-Backs & Loyalty Fund)
A 10% performance fee from LHYPE and future LLTs will be used to buy LOOP on the open market. This will be stored in the LOOP Loyalty Fund, at least 40% of the Loyalty FUND will go directly back to LHYP holders over time
LoopDrops (Airdrops from protocols used in the underlying looping strategy)
LHYPE currently has $100M+ in working capital deployed across HyperEVM protocols including Hyperlend, Hypurrfi and any other protocols added to the underlying looping strategy.
100% of airdrops earned through farming activities will be distributed back to LHYPE holders
In short, LOOP is the growth engine that rewards you for powering up the whole Liquid Looping universe.
At a future date, LOOP will serve as the governance token for all Liquid Looping Tokens.
